Real Beauty?

There are some mornings, when I would like to put a bag over my head or stay completely inside, because my hair is terrible or I've got dreadful eye circles.
I think all of us know these moments, these bad hair and bad face days, because all of us want to look beautiful.
Beautiful in this case means long, silky hairs, slender and clean skin, like women in magazines and advertisements have.
But what we often don't notice is, that all these women are not naturally that beautiful. Make up, lightening and Photoshop made them pretty.

This video shows, how easy it is to transform a woman.
Pretty scary and reassuring at the same time, because nobody is perfect and everyone has his little idiosyncrasies.
So cheer up the next time, when you see one of these unbelievably beautiful models and stop comparing them with you, because they are hyperreal. And who wants to be perfect anyway?! :)

London, Baby!

A few days ago, my lovely girls and me went to London.
It was extremely hot, but as a lot of things are on sale at the moment the heat couldn't stop our exhilaration.
All of us bought amazing things and it was a wonderful day!
I love London!

I'm a person, who loves to see other people's homes.
I think a home represents the owner and it is so interesting to see how different people live.
Cosy sofas, dimmed lights, books, and old pink is what I adore, a small, beautiful place, where I can chill out and forget the world around me.
If I could choose my home, it would definitely look like the wonderful rooms in the pictures. Especially the view of the eiffel tower every morning would make my day. ;)

Inspired by friends

All of my friends have an individual style and I'm so often inspired by their daily outfits, that I decided to take pictures of them and share them with you.
This time it's Lesley and I think she looks gorgeous today.
It's great how she creates a wonderful outfit with simple clothes and a lot of cute accessories!
And I'm very jealous of her watch :D

Studded

Studded shoes were always a sign of rebellion, but their image slightly changed.
Nowadays there can be more than rebellious; they can be sexy, cool, sporty and feminine.
I found some designer shoes, which are terrific and really different.
I really want a pair of studded shoes and I will see if I find a pair, which is not that expensive.
So, London I'm coming (:

I want Candy

I love love love candy stores,when I see one of them, no one can stop me of going inside.
I always leave with a huge bag of calories, but who cares, when they make happy?! :)

This skirt is one of my favourite pieces, not just because its quality is great and i love the shape, but also because my mum gave it to me.
She bought the skirt 20 years ago and it was one of her favourite pieces as well.
I have a great feeling, when I wear it, especially because it reminds me on my lovely mum.
